Ideal Candidate Will Have:

- Strong leadership skills – you will manage other superintendents

- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and oral)

- Wide bandwidth to balance multiple projects and personalities

- Safety-first mindset

- Unmatched problem-solving skills

- Prior experience as a construction superintendent

- Flexible schedule

General Superintendent’s Responsibilities Will Include:

- Management of field operations

- Management of multiple superintendents; including hiring, training, and development

- Monitoring daily updates from multiple superintendents, project managers, and subcontractors

- Driving project completion with scheduling and quality in mind

- Ensuring overall compliance with OSHA and safety requirements

- Maintaining a positive work environment for employees, subcontractors, and clients

What You Bring to the Table:

- High School Diploma or equivalent.

- An Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical), Building Construction, or Architecture degree is a PLUS

- 5 years or more of commercial construction field experience

- 3 years or more of direct supervisory experience

- Valid driver’s license is REQUIRED

- Ability to pass background and drug screening is REQUIRED

Superintendent’s Responsibilities Will Include:

- Management of field operations for a variety of commercial construction projects

- Daily communication with General Superintendent, Project Manager, and Subcontractors

- Driving project completion with scheduling and budget in mind

- Maintaining highly collaborative relationships with all involved parties throughout duration of the project

- Monitoring compliance with OSHA and safety requirements

- Coordinating with code officials, inspectors, and subcontractors

- Interpreting schematics and blueprints to ensure proper project completion

- Proactive, solution-oriented approach to all challenges is a MUST

What You Bring to the Table:

- High School Diploma or equivalent

- An Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical), Building Construction, or Architecture Degree

- 3 years or more of commercial construction field experience in a supervisory role

- Valid driver’s license is REQUIRED

- Ability to pass background and drug screening is REQUIRED

- Previous experience as a carpenter (commercial or residential)

- Ability to read blueprints

- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations

- Ability to properly care for and use tools of the trade

- Weekend availability - REQUIRED

Carpenter’s Responsibilities Will Include:

- Measuring, marking, and arranging building materials

- Installing blocking, doors, bath partitions, and hardware

- Adhering to local and federal building and safety codes and guidelines

Other Requirements:

- Working English proficiency

- Reliable transportation

- Ability to pass background and drug screening - REQUIRED

- Flexible schedule – weekend availability – REQUIRED
