Grinder, Taber & Grinder, Inc. invites you to apply for our 2025 Summer Internship program!

Ideal candidates will:

• Have a junior or senior standing at an accredited 4-year university OR be pursuing a master’s degree

• Major in (civil, construction, mechanical) engineering, construction management, building science, or architecture

• Have a minimum 3.0 GPA

• Have a reliable place to live in or near the Greater Memphis Area for the duration of the program

• INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS: must have an active visa status that allows work in the US.

During the 12-week program, you will work with the office and field teams. You will have the opportunity to:

• Participate in the bid process

• Assist with project close-out

• Attend site visits, OAC meetings, and other events

• Assist with site layout, daily reports, and safety assessments

• Complete 2-week look ahead schedules and RFIs

• Lead daily meetings and toolbox talks

We believe in a “learning by doing” approach. This internship is a full-time work commitment. Up to 8 weeks of the internship period may be spent on an active jobsite. Performance of the required duties will involve the physical ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time, climb ladders, safely navigate an active worksite, and lift up to 50 pounds.
