After a few years in their newly renovated building, Visible Music College discovered the need for living spaces for their students. But their location, nestled in the heart of downtown, left them little space to expand. A narrow alley on the backside of the college presented itself as the only available option, albeit a challenging one. The new 30-foot-wide dormitory was thoughtfully designed and skillfully built to fit in an alley that was not much larger. Although 10 percent smaller than the average room, the dorm rooms are modern, bright and open.
