$4.5M building permit filed for Whitehaven campus

A building permit application was filed Oct. 22 for Freedom Preparatory Academy at 817 Brownlee Road. Freedom Prep operates both a middle and a high school at that site.

The building permit, valued at $4.5 million, was described as being for renovation: adding a sprinkler system and bathrooms on the upper level.

The contractor was listed as Grinder, Taber & Grinder Inc.

Freedom Prep operates schools in both Whitehaven and Westwood.
