WYXR Memphis

A partnership between Crosstown Concourse, Daily Memphian and the University of Memphis brought a uniquely Memphis radio station to the airwaves. The station’s programming showcases Memphis musicians and provides a place for local volunteers to share their own eclectic playlists and interviews highlighting community matters. One of the more specialized buildouts in Crosstown Concourse, the radio studio required significant electric and acoustic components for station operation. A soundproof window, looking out on to Crosstown’s lobby, allows a behind-the-scenes look into the studio for those passing by.
