By partnering with Fortier Loss Control Consultants, our full-time safety consultant, we maintain an independent, consistent approach to jobsite safety. Fortier supports program development, conducts unannounced inspections, leads incident investigations, and provides ongoing training to reinforce safe practices.

Alongside this external oversight, GTG implements a comprehensive internal safety program. Field supervisors perform daily inspections and lead weekly Toolbox Talks, while all employees complete required annual safety training. We also participate in the Tennessee Drug Free Workplace Program, including mandatory testing and education.

Our teams are highly trained and prepared—site superintendents hold OSHA 30, CPR, and first aid certifications. All jobsites require proper PPE and are equipped with essential safety resources such as fire protection, first aid kits, and eyewash stations. Select projects also include job-specific screening and identification for approved personnel.

Safety information is clearly posted onsite, with additional resources and monthly updates available digitally for all employees. Combined with OSHA standards and Fortier’s independent oversight, these efforts create a strong, proactive safety culture that protects everyone on our jobsites.
