Orpheum Catenary Lights

GTG partnered with the Orpheum, City of Memphis, and Downtown Memphis Commission to raise catenary lights between the iconic theatre and neighboring Downtown Mobility Center parking garage. The industrial lights are suspended on a stainless steel cable, with each corner secured by a hook attached to a 27-inch stainless steel rod, epoxied into the surrounding concrete walls. This setup creates 1,200lbs of tension, ensuring the lights stay taut and free from sagging.
