Local Lime

Adapting a retail space for a full-service restaurant requires more than a simple buildout. Grinder, Taber & Grinder reworked a prominent Saddle Creek storefront to support Local Lime’s FreshMex concept, reshaping the space to meet both operational and guest experience needs.

The conversion required extensive modifications to the existing framework and MEP systems to accommodate a full-service restaurant. GTG reconfigured the layout to support efficient back-of-house operations while creating a more open, welcoming environment for guests.

Interior finishes play a key role in shaping the experience. Wood accents and custom drywall elements introduce texture and movement, while a mix of vibrant, artistic tile creates a layered and energetic environment. The addition of a breezy outdoor patio extends the space and enhances the overall atmosphere.

The result is a lively and well-executed restaurant that reflects the Local Lime brand, with GTG delivering a space designed for both performance and guest experience.
